A fun-filled class specially designed for the three-year-old. Lots of action and imagination to create a first dance class experience in a joyful way.
Creative Movement
A relaxed and fun class for four-year-olds with a little more emphasis on rhythm, patterning and technique.
Ballet – Pre-Primary, Primary, Grades 1-6
A progressive study of the Royal Academy of Dance world renowned syllabus. Most grades prepare for annual examinations in the spring.
Ballet – Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced
Classified as the Major Levels, these classes prepare the student for a professional career in performing or teaching. Those capable of this level are also invited to partake for pleasure alone. Examination optional.
Ballet – Adult & Teen Beginner
An opportunity to experience a traditional ballet class regardless of age or level of experience.
Yoga
Classes are offered at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in Hatha Yoga. Each class consists of breathing techniques, traditional postures and meditation. Yoga compliments all lifestyles.
Point, Stretch & Tone
A class designed to balance a dancer’s stretch and strength thus enhancing her technique on point.
Highland Dancing
A fun energized dance class based on the ancient Scottish style.
Pilates
A thorough workout focusing on core muscles and enhanced by stretch and relaxation.
Modern
Explore your creativity in this class through rhythm, breath, sound and movement. Modern technique challenges the dancer to find their internal and external connections within the movement.
Kids Musical Theatre (9-12)
This fun class will encompass all areas of performance..acting, singing and dancing. Every 6 - 8 wks a new number will be introduced. Sound of Music, Annie, The Lion King are examples of the numbers included.
Teen Musical Theatre (13 )
This class will follow the same template asa the Kids Musical Theatre with the difference being in the numbers studied, For example, Chicago, A Chorus Line, Rent,,,,etc.
Hip-Hop /Mixed Bag
A high energy class to get the dancer moving. The class will touch on the basics of hip hop and jazz techniques through exercises and choreography.
Ballroom Dancing
Learn to waltz, fox-trot, salsa and cha-cha.
